Lions Not Expected To Bid For Asomugha
The Lions are not expected to join the bidding war for cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha when the NFL lockout ends.

Detroit is in need of a cornerback.
Suh Wants To Erase Stigma Surrounding Lions
Lions defender Ndamukong Suh, who believes the team can go 16-0 this coming season, wants to erase the stigma surrounding the team.
"Playoffs should no question be a goal, but that's the first goal," he said. "The second goal is to get to that next level, getting to the last round, getting to the Super Bowl and moving past that stigma of the Lions are just another team that, 'Oh, we just beat you guys every, single year and that's it.' We're going to be a team to be reckoned with."
Suh Encouraged By Labor Progress
Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is encouraged by the labor progress the NFL's owners and players have made recently.
"It seems like there's some good progress and good talks," Suh said. "The main thing is that they're talking and being able to interact with each other. There was a point in time where there was nothing being said and we were just sitting back.
"Now, there's some interaction and it looks like there's some positive light at the end of the tunnel. We're looking forward to getting it done."
Suh is spending his offseason traveling, working out, rehabbing his surgically repaired shoulder and spending time with family and friends.
