Vic Fangio Leaves Field Without Shaking Adam Gase's Hand

Oct 2, 2020 8:34 AM

Vic Fangio left the field without shaking hands with Adam Gase after his Denver Broncos defeated the New York Jets on Thursday night.

Fangio hustled his players off the field as game ended.

In his postage interview, he attributed the quick exit to potential confrontations between players.

"Well there just was a couple personal fouls there at the end and our sideline was getting pissed off about it and I just wanted to avoid any confrontation at the end of the game and having it get ugly there so I tried to get our guys to leave quickly just to avoid anything happening there," Fangio said. "I thought it was the prudent thing to do."
