Melvin Gordon: Chargers Didn't Play To My Strengths

May 20, 2020 9:03 AM

Melvin Gordon was highly productive in his five seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, but the running back says his former team didn't play to his strengths.

"It really didn't play out to my strengths, especially the first couple years there," Gordon said. "I kind of just had to adjust and make it work. It kind of wasn't a system built for me. But I feel like Denver kinda runs my style of football, and I think it's a great fit."

Gordon signed with the Denver Broncos this offseason. He compiled 6,113 scrimmage yards and had three seasons with 12-plus touchdowns for the Chargers.

Von Miller Says He's Now 'Negative' For The Coronavirus

May 1, 2020 11:48 AM

Von Miller has tweeted that he is negative for the coronavirus, two weeks after announcing he had been diagnosed with it.

On April 16, the Denver Broncos linebacker announced his diagnosis, saying he went public to emphasize that anyone can be afflicted with the virus.

Miller remained in isolation and was under the care of Broncos' doctors.

Miller, who has asthma, said he elected to get tested after he had started to have a cough about six days prior and his inhaler "wasn't working like it normally should."
