Deshaun Watson says that he "would love" to have former Houston Texans teammate DeAndre Hopkins join him with the Cleveland Browns.

Hopkins was recently released by the Arizona Cardinals, clearing the way for him to join another team for the upcoming season.

During a Browns charity golf tournament, Watson hinted that he's informed Cleveland's front office that he would like for the team to make a run at Hopkins.

"That's kind of out of my range of things," Watson said. "All I can do is make a call and see what happens."

Jim Brown has passed away at the age of 87.

Brown played nine seasons for the Cleveland Browns between 1957 and 1965 and led the NFL in rushing in eight of those years.

Brown led the Browns to the league championship three times, winning the title in 1964. Brown was also named MVP three times.

The Cleveland Browns have agreed to acquire Za'Darius Smith from the Minnesota Vikings for a pair of fifth-round picks (2024 and 2025). Cleveland will also get a 2025 sixth rounder and a 2025 seventh rounder.

Smith will team up with All-Pro Myles Garrett to give Cleveland one of the most accomplished pass-rushing duos in the NFL. Smith is one of five players to have 10-plus sacks in three of the past four seasons. Smith still has more than $11 in guaranteed salary left on his deal.
