The Atlanta Falcons and Todd Gurley have agreed to a one-year, $6 million deal.

Gurley was released by the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday. Gurley had already been paid $7.5 million by the Rams before his release. Gurley's total earnings for 2020 will be $11 million.

Gurley played collegiately at Georgia. 

The Falcons had released starting running back Devonta Freeman on Monday.

Dante Fowler and the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a three-year, $48 million deal.

Fowler played for Dan Quinn while in college at Florida.

Fowler had 11.5 sacks with the Los Angeles Rams last season after 3½ turbulent years with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Falcons were expected to target a pass-rusher with Vic Beasley Jr. leaving the team this offseason.

The Atlanta Falcons have acquired Hayden Hurst in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens, according to sources.

Atlanta is losing tight end Austin Hooper to the Cleveland Browns in free agency,

In the deal, the Falcons will send a second- and fifth-round pick to the Ravens. Baltimore will also ship a fourth-round pick to Atlanta.
