The Atlanta Falcons announced a contract agreement with Todd Gurley over two months ago.

The running back was finally able to get to Atlanta and pass a physical on Monday.

After gaining 1,831 all-purpose yards and scoring 21 touchdowns in 2018, Gurley totaled 1,064 yards and 14 scores this past season with the Los Angeles Rams.

With the calendar turning to June on Monday, teams that cut players with post-June 1 designations earlier this offseason now have some more cap space.

The New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears are at the top of the list of those that now have more space.

The Jets now have $11 million more in cap space. They released Trumaine Johnson earlier in the offseason.

The Falcons will see $10.75 million in new cap space as a result of cutting Desmond Trufant.

The Rams and Bears now have an additional $5.5 million and $2.8 million in new space, respectively.
