NFL Suspends Four Players For Gambling Violations

Isaiah Rodgers and Rashod Berry of the Indianapolis Colts and free agent Demetrius Taylor were suspended indefinitely -- through at least the 2023 season -- for betting on NFL games last season.

In addition, Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere was suspended six games for betting on other sports at the workplace. The four suspensions were announced Thursday by the NFL.

Police Report: Tyreek Hill Offered Alleged Assault Victim $200

Tyreek Hill offered the 57-year-old man whom the wide receiver allegedly slapped on June 18 a sum of $200 in the time after the incident, according to the police report.

Per the report, the dispute happened when Hill and others entered a docked private boat. The captain of the boat told them to leave. Hill allegedly said to the captain, "I can buy you and the boat."

During the dispute, an employee of Kelley Fishing Fleet walked over to the scene. Hill allegedly slapped that employee on the back of the neck.

Surveillance footage backs up the versions offered by the boat captain and the employee who was struck. The employee later identified Hill in a photo lineup.

Before Hill left the scene, he was heard telling an "associate" to give the alleged victim $200. The alleged victim did not accept the money.

Assault Charges Against Davante Adams Dropped

An assault charge against Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams for shoving a credentialed media worker in Kansas City after an October game has been dropped.

A spokesperson for the Kansas City municipal court told The Kansas City Star on Friday that a prosecutor had dismissed the misdemeanor charge June 5 and that the case was closed.

Report: Target Date For Commanders Sale Is July 20

The target date for a special meeting regarding the sale of the Washington Commanders from Daniel Snyder to Josh Harris is July 20, according to a report.

The NFL recently asked owners to prepare to be available in the range of July 20 to August 8 for the meeting.

According to the report, there's a "strong desire" to do the deal before training camps open. He describes July 20 as "aggressive but doable."

Report: Tyreek Hill To Face Charges For Alleged Assault

Miami-Dade Police officials have confirmed that Tyreek Hill will face charges for an alleged assault and battery of a marina employee.

Neither Hill nor the alleged victim have been named in the incident report.

Local 10 News reported that on Sunday, the Dolphins wide receiver allegedly struck a man working at Haulover Marina in Miami.

It is not known if Hill will face any repercussions from the Dolphins or the league.

Tyreek Hill Under Investigation In Alleged Altercation

Tyreek Hill is under investigation on allegations of assault/battery at a Miami Beach marina, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department said.

According to a report, Hill allegedly hit a marina employee during a "disagreement" that took place Sunday. 

The Miami Dolphins released a statement through a spokesperson, acknowledging the reported incident.

"We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL," the team said. "We will reserve further comment at this time."

Josh Harris To See Committee About Commanders Sale

Josh Harris, who reached an agreement to buy the Washington Commanders last month, will meet with the NFL's finance committee Wednesday, multiple sources confirmed to ESPN.

It's another step towards a possible vote by NFL owners to approve the sale this summer.

Harris has been working with the NFL to make the required adjustments to his offer to complete the sale, a source told ESPN. He'll meet with the eight finance committee members in New York.

The Washington Post first reported the meeting.
