The Baltimore Ravens have released Michael Huff and Marcus Spears.

Huff and Spears were offseason signings by Ozzie Newsome to fill holes in their defense.

The Pittsburgh Steelers released Isaac Redman on Monday after the emergence of Le'Veon Bell.

Bell was able to run the ball effectively up the middle and has been the Steelers' best running back since coming off a foot injury.

Redman ran for just 12 yards on 10 carries this season.

The Dallas Cowboys have released Jay Ratliff.

The Cowboys put Ratliff on the PUP list at the start of training camp after he suffered a strained hamstring in the conditioning run. 

Ratliff is a four-time Pro Bowler at defensive tackle.

The Cowboys didn't see Ratliff play a single snap for the $18 million guaranteed he received on the his extension that began this year.

The Oakland Raiders have released Matt Flynn.

Flynn was acquired in the offseason by the Raiders, but he lost the starting quarterback job to Terrelle Pryor.

Flynn started Week 4 against the Washington Redskins with Pryor injured, but he struggled in the opportunity.

The Baltimore Ravens have released Brandon Stokley.

Tight end Billy Bajema has been signed to fill Stokley's roster spot.

Stokley had nine catches for 79 yards this season.

The New York Jets have claimed Zach Sudfeld off waivers.

Sudfeld looked good in training camp as a replacement for Aaron Herandez at tight end, but struggled in his four weeks with the New England Patriots.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released Josh Freeman.

The Buccaneers were unable to trade Freeman, who they recently benched in favor of Mike Glennon.

Freeman has $6.2 million in salary remaining.

The Buccaneers were hoping to trade Freeman before the deadline.

The relationship between Freeman and the Buccaneers have deteriorated over time and quickly went beyond repair in recent days.

The New New England Patriots have released Zach Sudfeld.

Sudfeld had become a preseason fantasy sleeper at tight end, but never became productive over the first four games with the Patriots.

The Seattle Seahawks have claimed B.J. Daniels off waivers.

The 49ers released him in order to sign John Skelton.

The 49ers had hoped to keep Daniels on their practice squad.

Seattle had only been carrying Russell Wilson and Tarvaris Jackson at quarterback.

The San Francisco 49ers have cut B.J. Daniels.

The 49ers selected Daniels in the seventh round in April and was their third string quarterback.

John Skelton is expected to be signed by the 49ers to replace Daniels.
