Hillis did not play in the first two games of the season with the Buccaneers.

Brian Leonard and Mike James are backing up Doug Martin at running back for the Buccaneers.

The New York Jets have released Brady Quinn.

By releasing Quinn now, the Jets won't have to pay his full 2013 salary.

Quinn could be brought back on a wee-by-week basis and will still be paid for Week 1.

The Minnesota Vikings have claimed J'Marcus Webb.

Webb moved from left tackle to right tackle last season and will give the Vikings a veteran backup at both positions.

Troy Kropog was the only backup tackle on the Vikings' roster.

Webb was placed on waivers last week by the Chicago Bears.

The San Diego Chargers have released Robert Meachem.

Meachem will still receive $5 million and he counts $6.875 million against the 2013 salary cap and additional dead mony in 2014.

Meachem was a costly free agent mistake by the Chargers.
