The Arizona Cardinals have claimed D.J. Swearinger off waivers.

Swearinger was released by Washington two days after he criticized the play calling of defensive coordinator Greg Manusky.

A source told ESPN that the decision to release Swearinger was easy because he had been warned several times about his critical remarks about the team.

Brandon Marshall has been released by the New Orleans Saints.

Marshall has played 178 regular season games without ever playing in the playoffs during his 13-season career.

Marshall began this season with the Seattle Seahawks, appearing in six games and catching 11 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown before he was released Nov. 1.

The Buffalo Bills have waived Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes.

The Bills acquired Benjamin, 27, in a trade from the Carolina Panthers in October 2017 for third- and seventh-round picks in the 2018 draft.

Benjamin was a first round pick 2014 by the Panthers.
