Zach Miller underwent emergency surgery on Sunday in an effort to save his injured left leg.

Miller dislocated his knee in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Saints. Sources told Mortensen that Miller's dislocated knee is considered "more significant" than a regular dislocation, which is a serious injury.

Vascular surgeons were called in to repair Miller's leg, which includes grafting tissue from the other leg to repair the damaged artery.

Andrew Luck is seeking more opinions to figure out why his surgically repaired shoulder is "not progressing as expected," according to an Indianapolis Colts source.

Luck had what the team believed was a mild setback more than two weeks ago, when he experienced soreness in his throwing shoulder after he was cleared to practice. He received a cortisone injection, only to experience another setback, which the team does not believe is serious, a source said.

The quarterback had surgery to repair a torn labrum on Jan. 15 and the recovery has not gone as expected.

Aaron Rodgers is in a sling after breaking his collarbone two weeks ago against the Minnesota Vikings.

Rodgers made an appearance on Conan Thursday night, his first public appearance since undergoing surgery.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback told Conan O'Brien that he has "13 screws" in his collarbone.

Rodgers wouldn't elaborate when asked by ESPN to confirm the number of screws saying, "It's TV. Sometimes you exaggerate. And then sometimes, you tell the truth."

Joe Flacco suffered a concussion during Thursday night's 40-0 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Flacco left the field bloodied and dazed late in the first half. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback took a hard shot from Kiko Alonso after sliding to the ground on a run. Flacco's helmet immediately flew off and he went to the locker room with a glassy-eyed look and blood coming from his left ear.

Flacco was ruled out of the game during halftime. It is the first reported concussion in Flacco's career.

"Joe had a concussion and a cut ear," John Harbaugh said. "They were stitching that [ear] up without any anesthesia, so he's a tough dude. That's as much as I know about it."

The New England Patriots have lost Dont'a Hightower for the season with a torn pec.

Hightower suffered the injury in the Patriots' win last week over the Falcons.

Hightower is considered the leader of the Patriots' defense.

Jason Peters has suffered a torn ACL and MCL and will miss the remainder of the season.

There was some optimism amongst the Philadelphia Eagles that Peters only suffered a torn MCL.

The Cleveland Browns fear Joe Thomas suffered a torn triceps.

Thomas would have season-ending surgery if an MRI confirms a tear.

Thomas' consecutive snap streak ended at 10,363.

Carson Palmer is likely out for the season with a broken left arm. Palmer will undergo surgery when Palmer returns to Arizona from London.

Bruce Arians expects Palmer to miss anywhere between eight weeks and the rest of the season.

Palmer left the game with Arizona down 6-0.

Palmer was replaced by Drew Stanton, who finished 5-of-14 for 62 yards and an interception. Palmer was 10-for-18 for 122 yards and an interception when he left the game.

Andrew Luck will again not practice this coming week.

While Luck's return continues to be put off, the Indianapolis Colts are still not considering placing him on injured reserve. If Luck is healthy, the Colts will place him this season.

Luck underwent offseason surgery on his shoulder.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are not expecting to have Leonard Fournette in their lineup for Week 7.

Fournette suffered an ankle injury last week.

Fournette has been one of the NFL's most productive running backs.
