Jake Locker Re-Injures Left Shoulder

Oct 22, 2014 9:41 PM

Jake Locker re-injured his left should during the Tennessee Titans' 38-14 loss to the Texans in Week 4.

Locker was sacked by Glover Quin and grimmaced in pain as he hit the turf and lost the football.

Locker will have an MRI on the shoulder on Monday.

“It is sore, we just don’t know to what level,” Munchak said. “We need to decide what happened. And then we’ll make a decision on what’s best for the player. We’ll evaluate that when we get more information tomorrow.”

Locker suffered a separated left shoulder in the season opener against the Patriots.

Rob Gronkowski Likely To Play Despite Hip Injury

Jun 17, 2014 2:06 PM

Rob Gronkowski had “limited participation” in Friday's practice and could miss Sunday's game against the Bills with his hip injury.

“I’m always going with what the game plan gives me,” Gronkowski said. “You never know what kind of situations you’re going to be in during the game, how the game is going to work out. Whatever the assignment is, whatever I’m asked to do, if it’s going out and catching the ball, if it’s staying in and blocking, if it’s run blocking, whatever it is, whatever I’m asked to do, just got to go out and perform it to my best ability that play.”

But ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Gronkowski is likely to play.

Terrell Suggs Will Return From Injury This Season

Aug 28, 2014 6:15 PM

Terrell Suggs is now expected to return earlier than once thought as he recovers from his Achilles tendon injury.

Suggs, who was the 2011 Defensive Player of the Year, would be eligible to return as early as Week 7.

"He has his target date,” Baltimore Ravens' head coach John Harbaugh said, without sharing the specific date. "He is doing well. The main thing we want to do now is make sure there is no setback, and he continues to get in shape and continues to get stronger.”

Suggs previously said that he could be back in October and no later than November.

"Football shape will be a factor,” Harbaugh said. "As soon as he gets on the field, it’s not like he is going to be back to Defensive Player of the Year form. We need to all understand that. Just give him a little space and let him kind of grow into this thing.”
