The Green Bay Packers demonstrated in Week 2's win over the Bears that they intend to use Cedric Benson as the workhorse running back.

Benson rushed 20 times for 81 yards, while also adding four catches for 35 yards.

“It felt really good,” said Benson after the game. “I was really eager to get back on the field after last week’s loss. The week couldn’t have went by any slower. I was so ready to get back on the field and kind of I guess get things on the right track so to speak. Last week was tough, we didn’t run it like we wanted to, so it felt really good.”

Benson ran just nine times for 18 yards in Week 1's loss.

There had been speculation that the Packers would use Randall Cobb more out of the backfield.
