Antonio Brown's agent told reporters almost a month ago that his client agreed to terms on a new deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On Tuesday, Bruce Arians said Brown's signing has been delayed by the fact that the wide receiver has a knee injury that requires surgery.

"He has to pass the physical," Arians said. "Hopefully we'll have a scope on Tuesday, he's getting his knee cleaned out, and everything will work out fine. It's just a matter of a physical."

According to data from Vivid Seats, Tom Brady's return to play at the New England Patriots is the most sought after ticket for the 2021 NFL season. The average price of a sold ticket is currently $1,376. 

Beyond Brady's return, a number of games at the Las Vegas Raiders are next on the list. The Raiders didn't play any home games with fans in attendance last season. The Raiders figure to be a popular draw for road teams due to their presence in Las Vegas.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will travel to Foxboro to face the New England Patriots in Week 4 of the 2021 season.

Brady is currently 1,154 passing yards behind Drew Brees for the NFL's all-time career record.

That means if Brady were to average 289.6 yards per game in 2021 — his average in 2020 — he would break the all-time record in Week Four, when the Buccaneers play at New England on Sunday Night Football.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Dallas Cowboys to open the 2021 NFL regular season on Thursday, September 9th.

Since 2004, 16 defending Super Bowl champions have played in the NFL season opener, and those teams have gone 13-3. 

Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans 34-20 in the NFL Kickoff Game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Tom Brady and Dak Prescott have faced off in one previous game in their careers. 

Jason Licht believes it is possible for Tom Brady to continue playing through the 2027 season when he is 50. 

Brady is currently 43, which would mean he would play seven more seasons.

“I want to keep all those conversations, most of them, private, but no inkling at all,” Licht said. “I told him if he wants to play until he’s 50, and he still feels like he can play, he can still play until he’s 50.”

Brady is already the oldest player to be his team's primary quarterback. 

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed Blaine Gabbert to a one-year deal.

According to a source, Gabbert's deal is worth up to $2.5 million.

Last season, Gabbert, 31, completed 9 of 16 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions as Tom Brady's backup.
