Jon Gruden will interview for head coaching positions with NFL teams this offseason.

Gruden is currently an analyst for ESPN and has said publicly he will stay at the network.

Gruden's camp has put out word to teams that he is interested in a return.

The Eagles and Chargers are two franchises in particular that could be of interest to Gruden.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have restructured the contracts of Vincent Jackson and Carl Nicks to create approximately $18 million in 2013 cap space.

In both cases, the Buccaneers accelerated the process by giving roster bonuses for this year to replace guaranteed money for next year. 

Jackson got a $12.16 million roster bonus to push his cap figure for this year to $15.43 million. But his new base salary for 2013 will be $840,000 and his cap figure will drop to $3.472 million. 

Tampa Bay gave Nicks an $11.785 million roster bonus now and pushing his cap figure to $15.436 million for this year.

Over Raheem Morris’ three-year tenure with the franchise, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers joined the Bills as either 31st or 32nd in rushing yards allowed, rushing yards per carry allowed and rushing touchdowns allowed.

Under Greg Schiano and defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan, the Buccaneers drafted Mark Barron with the seventh overall pick. Barron was considered one of the safest picks in the draft as an in-the-box saftety.

Schiano, Barron, former third overall pick Gerald McCoy and second round pick Lavonte David have completely reformed the rushing defense.

The Buccaneers rank first in both rushing yards and yards per rush allowed.

The Buccaneers, however, rank amongst the worst passing defenses in the NFL.
