The Seattle Seahawks have offered their offensive coordinator job to former Minnesota Vikings' offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, a source said.
Bevell flew to Seattle on Tuesday for a two-day interview with head coach Pete Carroll.

The Seahawks have hired former Raiders coach Tom Cable to work as an assistant under Pete Carroll.
Cable is expected to coach Seattle's offensive line.

Seahawks Fire O-Coordinator Bates
The Seahawks have fired first-year offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates, according to a league source.
Bates, who completed his eighth season as an NFL assistant, directed a unit that finished 28th in the NFL in yards per game (297.8) and 23rd in points per game (19.4).
Cutler Leads Bears Over Seahawks
Jay Cutler accounted for four touchdowns as the Bears defeated the Seahawks 35-24 to advance to the NFC Title Game.
Seattle scored all 24 of their points in the second half, including 21 in the fourth quarter.
Cutler threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more in the victory. It was his first playoff start since high school.
Chicago will face Green Bay next weekend.
"Now that we have beaten the Seahawks, it just doesn't get any better, as I see it, than for the NFC championship coming down to the Packers coming down on our turf this time," coach Lovie Smith said. "The Packers and Bears to finish it up."
Seattle's Carlson, Trufant Carted Off Field
Seahawks tight end John Carlson was carted off the field early in the team's playoff game against the Bears on Sunday afternoon.
He landed on his head following a reception in the first quarter.
Seattle had a second player carted off the field in the third quarter when cornerback Marcus Trufant was kneed in the head.
Carlson was seen moving his legs before being placed on a board and carted off.
Seahawks, Obomanu Agree To Extension
The Seahawks have agreed to a three-year, $12 million extension with wide receiver Ben Obomanu.
Obomanu had a breakout season for Seattle in 2010.
The Seahawks locked up wide receiver Mike Williams with a three-year extension last Monday.
Seahawks Lose QB Coach To Hurricanes Job
Seattle Seahawks quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch accepted the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach job at the University of Miami, an NFL source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Fisch will coach with the Seahawks throughout the playoffs, the source said.
Seattle Would Like To Keep Hasselbeck
The Seahawks would like to retain quarterback Matt Hasselbeck.
Hasselbeck will be a free agent after the season.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll said the team would like to do "everything we can" to have Hasselbeck return for an 11th season with the franchise.
"We don't know the timelines or how that's going to work out, and all that kind of stuff, but that's a big issue for us that we're looking forward to. He's had a terrific run for us and we want to see what we can do to keep that going," Carroll said.

Terrell Owens believes the long-shot Seahawks have a shot to defeat the Bears.
Owens said the Seahawks, who visit Soldier Field as 10-point underdogs, are in a good spot to pull off another upset after beating the defending champ Saints in the wild card round.
"Of course they can," Owens said on "The T.Ocho Show" on Versus. "They just won. They have all the confidence and all the momentum on their side."

John Vidale, director of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, says that a seismic monitoring station about 100 yards west of the stadium registered seismic activity during Lynch's clinching run.
Vidale says the shaking lasted about 30 seconds and then faded off for another minute.
