Jason Kelce is returning to the Philadelphia Eagles for a 13th season after the team fell short of a Super Bowl win in February.

Kelce said that he knows "some people like saying that" the Eagles will be able to run things back because they have retained so many of the key players from last year's squad but his experience tells him that "no two seasons are going to be the same."

The center believes that this season will pose bigger challenges because of the success that the Eagles experienced in 2022.

"We're starting, in my mind, from ground one," Kelce said. "We're starting from the very bottom again and we're installing all the plays -- this is what you have to do. You have to approach it like it's a completely new team in a completely new year. You keep trying to get better and you keep trying to improve. We're going to have to earn it the same way we did last year. They don't just hand it to you in this league. In some ways, it's going to be harder. When you do win and have a successful year, all offseason, all the offenses are looking to steal things that you do well. All the defenses are looking to stop the innovative, creative things that you're doing so you have more eyes on you. You have more time being spent around the things that you do structurally. We have a lot to prove and it's going to be even harder to have a really, really good season."

Robert Kraft has announced that Tom Brady will be honored at the New England Patriots' 2023 home opener, which will come against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 10.

"I invited him back to be with us at the opening game and let the fans in New England thank him ... it will be the beginning of many celebrations to honor Tom Brady," Kraft said.

Kraft added of Brady, who announced his retirement after 23 seasons: "He's very excited to come back and see our fans. It will be a great, great celebration."

The NFL has announced that the Philadelphia Eagles will host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13 in a rematch of the NFC Championship Game.

With the game in December, there's a chance some of the heat from last year's title game will have dissipated.

Several 49ers maintain they would have won this past January's title game if Brock Purdy hadn't gotten hurt.

Zach Ertz says he was nearly traded to the Buffalo Bills during the 2021 season.

The Bills suffered an epic loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the playoffs that year.

"I was getting traded out of Philadelphia," Ertz said. "There were a couple teams extremely interested, Buffalo being one of them. It was almost a done deal, but it just didn't get over the finish line."

The Eagles ultimately dealt the tight end to the Arizona Cardinals for a fifth-round pick and cornerback Tay Gowan.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 in this year's NFC Championship Game, but Deebo Samuel says the better team didn't win.

Samuel says that there is "no question" the 49ers were the better team and that they would have won if Brock Prudy hadn't suffered an elbow injury.

"We lost because we played with 10 people," Samuel told Complex.

Samuel also said the Eagles are his "most hated team" and that he's sick of hearing people say the Eagles were better than the 49ers last year or will be better than them this year.
