Feb 22, 2023 9:55 AM

"You gotta pay, bro," Brown said. "I love Philly. What I'm about to say … You do not pay this man, just ship me off wherever he's going to go. So, you talk about pressure, Howie [Roseman], get it done."

The Eagles have made it clear that signing Hurts long-term is their top priority this offseason.

In his first season with Philly, Brown had 88 receptions, 1,496 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns -- all career highs.

Jason Kelce Undecided On Future After Super Bowl Loss

Feb 16, 2023 8:55 AM

Jason Kelce hasn't decided if he'll continue to play football after the Philadelphia Eagles' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.

"Man, I can't answer that right now. No chance," the veteran Eagles center said. "We'll answer that soon enough, I guess. I don't know the answer to that right now. So I can't answer it.

"I do know it was a lot of fun this year. I had an amazing team and time doing this show with my brother, so we'll see. I'm gonna let the batteries recharge. I'm exhausted, man. It's a long season, mentally, physically, emotionally drained, and I'm gonna let all that kinda recover before we decide on that."

James Bradberry Won't 'Play For Cheap,' To Talk With Eagles 'Soon'

Feb 15, 2023 9:56 AM

James Bradberry excelled with the Philadelphia Eagles after signing a one-year prove-it deal before the season.

The cornerback earned second-team All-Pro honors with three interceptions and 17 passes defensed in 17 regular-season games.

In the wake of the Eagles' loss in the Super Bowl, Bradberry says he hasn't yet talked with the team.

"I don't know what they got planning on over there, and I didn't want to ask about it because I just wanted my mind to be on football," Bradberry said. "But we'll talk about it soon."

At this point in his career, Bradberry said he's balancing getting paid with going to a place he can win.

"It's kind of hard to put like a percentage on which one is more important," he said. "It's kind of just based upon a case-by-case scenario. But I do know those two things are probably the most important to me -- being on a good roster, having the ability to get to the playoffs and win in the playoffs, but also, I don't want to play for cheap, you know."

Cardinals Hire Jonathan Gannon As Head Coach

Feb 14, 2023 3:14 PM

The Arizona Cardinals have hired Jonathan Gannon as their new head coach on a five-year contract.

The other two finalists for the job were Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo and New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.

Gannon had been the Eagles' defensive coordinator for the past two seasons and immediately made an impact. He turned Philadelphia into a top-10 defense in his first year, and this season, the Eagles ranked No. 2 in the league while boasting two Pro Bowlers.

Gannon replaces Kliff Kingsbury, who was fired in January after going 28-37-1 with one playoff appearance in four seasons.

James Bradberry On Crucial Penalty: 'It Was Holding'

Feb 13, 2023 10:34 AM

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry admitted to committing a holding penalty on what became a crucial play in Super Bowl LVII.

"It was a holding," he said following the Eagles' 38-35 loss. "I tugged his jersey. I was hoping they would let it slide."

The penalty allowed the Chiefs to run out the clock and kick a game-winning field goal with less than 10 seconds remaining.

"Oh yes, a hundred percent," Smith-Schuster said when asked if it was a penalty. "My route's to strike in, strike back out. I mean Bradberry's a good player, but you know I feel like at some day, the call's gonna be called."

After the game, referee Carl Cheffers told pool reporter Lindsay Jones that the grab was transparent and there was "no debate" on whether it was a flag.
