Bill O'Brien is returning to the New England Patriots as offensive coordinator, according to sources.

O'Brien, 53, spent the past two seasons as the offensive coordinator under Nick Saban at Alabama.

Bill Belichick didn't name an official offensive coordinator for the Patriots in 2022, leaning on Matt Patricia as the primary playcaller despite Patricia's primary background in the NFL being on the defensive side.

The Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans will each play international games during the NFL's 2023 regular season.

The Chiefs and Patriots will play in Germany, while the Bills, Titans and Jaguars will play in London.

The Bills and Titans are the designated home teams for two games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while the Jaguars will host a game at Wembley Stadium as part of their multiyear commitment to playing in the United Kingdom.

There will be no international game in Mexico in 2023 due to renovations taking place in Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The New England Patriots have announced that they are working to retain inside linebackers coach Jerod Mayo as well as searching for an offensive coordinator.

Mayo played eight seasons for the Patriots and just concluded his fourth season as an assistant. He has received interest from other teams for head-coaching vacancies, according to report.
