A league source says that the Dolphins have interest in wide receiver Laveranues Coles, but only if he'll sign for the right price.
Coles is known to be a close friend of quarterback Chad Pennington.

Dolphins Sign Gibril Wilson
The Miami Dolphins reached an agreement with former New York Giants and Oakland Raiders safety Gibril Wilson on Thursday. Terms of the deal weren't available, but according to a source, he agreed to a five-year deal.
Wilson signed a six-year, $39 million contract with the Raiders last season but was cut within the last week to clear cap room.
Crowder: If Dolphins Don't Re-Sign Me, 'It's Their Loss'
Miami linebacker Channing Crowder claims that the team would be making a huge mistake if they don't re-sign him this offseason.
"They said, 'Well, we want to see what your market value is, and see where it goes from there,' " Crowder said Friday night. "So hopefully it does get real, real high and they have to match something high, but we'll see when free agency comes around."
Free agency in the NFL kicks off on Friday.
"They did have the whole season to re-sign me, and they really didn't want to talk about anything, so maybe they didn't like me as a player or whatever it was," Crowder said. "If they want to get into a bidding battle with somebody, that means they really didn't want me anyway.
"I want to play football next year, and I'm confident I can play in the NFL, so I'll play football next year and hopefully it's with the Dolphins. But if it's with somebody else, I know I can play football. They had the first crack at it and they dropped the ball, so we'll see what other teams do. It's their loss."
Carey, Dolphins Agree On Six-Year Deal
The Dolphins and right tackle Vernon Carey agreed on Friday to a six-year contract.
Carey, the 19th overall selection in the 2004 draft, has started 59 straight games for the Dolphins.
T.J. To Eagles, Dolphins, 49ers Or Ravens?
T.J. Houshmandzadeh's time in Cincinnati appears to be drawing to a close, and a number of teams are expected to show interest in the wide receiver.
Seattle, San Francisco, Tennessee, Baltimore, Miami and Philadelphia are said to be in need of a top-flight receiver.
Parcells Told Huizenga He Would Walk
In the midst of their playoff run last month, executive Bill Parcells reportedly told the Dolphins that he would exercise his right to leave at the end of the season.
"I will exercise my right to leave once this season is over and the team sale is complete," Parcells said, according to a source.
Miami was able to convince Parcells to stay by changing a 30-day escape clause in his contract to an open-ended arrangement whereby Parcells can leave at any time.
Sources: Parcells Can Walk With Full Pay
Despite his public commitment to the Dolphins, executive vice president of football operations Bill Parcells can reportedly walk away from the job with full pay.
Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga reportedly removed the previously reported 30-day escape clause before closing on the sale of the team to real estate billionaire Stephen Ross in January.
Parcells has the option to leave without any restrictions, and the team is required to pay him the balance of the original $12 million, four-year contract he signed in January 2008.
