Taylor: 'It'd Be Tough To Play For Pats'

May 17, 2014 12:32 AM

Former Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor, a free agent, says that it would be tough to play for New England, a bitter rival of Miami. "As far as the football stuff is concerned, it's not for me to talk about. It's for the organizations," Taylor said this weekend. "Whenever I come to an agreement with a team, obviously, we'll both talk about it. There's been a lot of talk about New England. I don't know where it's all coming from. I don't know who's starting it. I don't know what level of talk is between me and my agent. But it's tough to play for one team for 11 years, and then go to play for your bitter rival. That's tough to do."

Kiper's Criticism Motivating Dolphin Receivers

May 26, 2014 12:49 AM

ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. has dismissed Miami's receiving crops, which hasn't changed since the 2008 season. "But you look at it, like 'OK, [Kiper doesn't] think Ted Ginn can get the job done,'" Brandon London said. "I watch Ted Ginn in practice every day, I think Ted Ginn is a hell of a receiver. I watch Davone Bess, I watch [Greg] Camarillo. We think we can get it done. ... Just wait." Davone Bess caught 54 passes as a rookie, and isn't buying into Kiper's comments. "Most players will get mad or frustrated, but I love it, because it's always keeping me humble," Bess said of the criticism. "Knowing that there's always someone out there to knock you down."
