Browns Favored For First Time Since 2015

The Cleveland Browns have opened as 2.5-point favorites against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

It marks the first time the Browns have been favored since Week 14 of the 2015 season when they were favored over the San Francisco 49ers.

Ravens Haven't Lost To Rookie Quarterback Since 2008

The Cleveland Browns will face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday with rookie DeShone Kizer at quarterback.

The Ravens haven't lost to a rookie quarterback since John Harbaugh became the team's head coach in 2008. They are 5-0 in those games.

The rookie signal callers they've faced over that span are Andy Dalton, Cody Kessler, Geno Smith, Brandon Weeden and Carson Wentz.

Josh Gordon To Complete 90-Day Rehab Stint Next Week

After being suspended for the last two full seasons, Josh Gordon is scheduled to complete a 90-day rehab program on September 21.

Gordon hopes to return to the NFL, but it remains to be seen what the league will do. They have full authority on what to do with the wide receiver, who showed flashes of brilliance with the Cleveland Browns.

This is Gordon's fourth trip to rehab.

Myles Garrett Could Miss Several Weeks With Ankle Injury

Myles Garrett suffered a right ankle injury during the Cleveland Browns' practice on Wednesday.

Garrett, who was the first overall pick in this year's draft, may miss the opener.

Garrett will undergo further evaluation on the ankle, which will likely include an MRI.

The Browns fear Garrett could miss several weeks.

The San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns lead the NFL in official cap space as the 2017 regular season begins at $64.2 million and $61.8 million respectively. 

The Jacksonville Jaguars rank third in cap space at $35.3 million.

The Los Angeles Chargers ($434k), Los Angeles Rams ($738k) and Miami Dolphins ($1.8 million) rank in the bottom-3.

Broncos Sign Brock Osweiler

The Denver Broncos have signed Brock Osweiler on the veterans' minimum of $775,000.

Osweiler spent his four seasons with the Broncos before signing with the Houston Texans. The Texans traded him to the Cleveland Browns after one season and he was released.

The Browns, who owed Osweiler $16 million after his release, will now pay him $15.225 million.

Browns Cut Brock Osweiler

Brock Osweiler has been released by the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns owe Osweiler $16 million, but Cleveland does get Houston's 2018 second-round pick.

Osweiler got the start in the first two preseason games for the Browns.

The Browns will start DeShone Kizer to begin the season.
