Jun 12, 2014 8:04 PM

Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens admitted following Thursday's game that Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis "is pretty good." Owens was had held to season lows in catches (three) and yards (17) in Cincinnati's loss to New York. The receiver said earlier in the week that Revis was a slouch. "Nobody said anything when he called me a slouch," Owens said. "I've played this game enough to gain my respect and you guys want to make it a big deal because I called him average. I said what I said to kind of fire our team up."

Lewis Wants To Remain In Cincinnati

Sep 11, 2014 7:14 PM

The Bengals have struggled this season, but head coach Marvin Lewis hopes to have a future with the team. Cincinnati is just 2-8 and there has been speculation that Lewis has just six games left with the team. Talks about an extension have been at a standstill. "I see a future here," Lewis said. "For everybody involved, I want this thing. I haven't got done what I came here to do, and I failed them. But we're still doing it, and we're going to keep on doing it and just keep working at it. This has not been the season we all wanted, but it is where we are right now. I think we continue, my guys coach very hard, and that's not going to change."

Owens Says Revis Is 'Average Corner'

Oct 31, 2014 6:27 AM

Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens says that Jets defender Darrelle Revis is just an "average corner." Cincinnati and New York will face off on Thursday night. Owens called Revis a "slouch" last offseason and has painted him as a one-year wonder. "Just an average corner to me," said Owens. "Everybody has assessed his abilities as far as what he did last year, shutdown corner, this and that. He did very well last year. But I think I'm looking forward to the challenge just like he's looking forward to the challenge. "I'm not going to back down from anyone. I know my skill set. Last year we played, I know why I didn't perform to the best of my abilities. It's going to be a great game on Thursday."

Ochocinco Miffed Over Down Season

Sep 24, 2014 2:59 PM

Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is upset that he hasn't been more productive this season. Ochocinco has fallen behind Terrell Owens in Cincinnati and at one point against Pittsburgh on Monday night he was taken off the field by coach Marvin Lewis. Owens finished the game with 10 catches and two touchdowns, while Ochocinco had just one reception. "Yeah, he was upset," Lewis said. "But we've got to play football. If he's not going to get it done right, he's got to come take an opportunity to freshen up his mind and get right back in the game." Ochocinco said prior to the season that he was content being the "Robin" to T.O's "Batman." "It's been like that all year," Ochocinco said. "Teams are taking me away. It's very frustrating. They're not allowing me to be available to help this team out. I was emotional, but in no way did it affect what we were doing out there on the field."

Owens Rips McNabb Again

May 17, 2014 7:44 AM

Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens has ripped into Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb once again. Owens said on his reality show on Tuesday night that he understands Washington's decision to pull McNabb late in Sunday's loss to Detroit. The pair feuded when they were in Philadelphia together. On "The T.Ocho Show" on Tuesday night, Owens took another swipe at McNabb, saying there were "rumors" he couldn't get things done in the two-minute offense when they were together. "Well, I don't really want to start anything, but I did play in the Super Bowl and there were rumors where he couldn't get our two-minute offense going at the end of the game," Owens said. "I'm just saying."
