Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga has pleaded not guilty in northern Kentucky to drunken and careless driving charges.
Covington police spokesman Spike Jones says Maualuga hit a parking meter and two parked cars early Friday.

Ochocinco Wants To Kick In Pro Bowl
Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco wants to show off his kicking abilities at the Pro Bowl this weekend.
He made some kickoffs Thursday during practice for the Pro Bowl, hoping to convince the coaches that he's capable of going toe-to-toe.
"Yesterday was punting, today was kickoffs, tomorrow will be field goals," Ochocinco told the Associated Press of his lobbying effort. "I don't know. We'll see what happens."
Ochocinco kicked for Cincinnati during a preseason game against New England last August.
Marvin Lewis Named Coach Of Year
Bengals coach Marvin Lewis has been named The Associated Press 2009 NFL Coach of the Year.
Lewis led Cincinnati to the postseason after a season of turmoil.
The Bengals won the AFC North with a 10-6 record, just their second division title since 1990, both under Lewis. They did so despite the deaths of wide receiver Chris Henry and Vikki Zimmer, the wife of defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer.
Ochocinco Named As Pro Bowl Alternate
Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco was selected Friday as an alternate on the AFC's Pro Bowl roster.
He replaced injured Patriots receiver Wes Welker.
Ochocinco reacted to the news by declaring he would take part in a charity sprint.
"Adam i am racing Chris Johnson, the loser is giving there pro bowl check over to those in need in Haiti," Ochocinco wrote on Twitter, addressing ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Bengals Retain Mike Zimmer
The Bengals have signed defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer to a three-year contract.
A source with knowledge of the situation told NFL.com of the agreement.
Zimmer's contract was set to expire after the season.
Carson Palmer To Have Thumb Surgery
Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer will have surgery on his left thumb this week.
Cincinnati was eliminated from the the playoffs by New York on Saturday afternoon.
Palmer threw for 3,094 yards, 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions for the Bengals this season.
Bengals Will Look To Retain Zimmer
The Bengals will open contract talks with defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer next week in an effort to keep him.
Zimmer's contract is set to expire and sources claim that Cincinnati wants to keep him from thinking about taking a job elsewhere.
According to a source, the Redskins are interested in hiring Zimmer to join new coach Mike Shanahan's staff as defensive coordinator.
Jets Advance With Win In Cincinnati
The Jets defeated the Bengals 24-14 in Cincinnati on Saturday afternoon to advance to the divisional round of the playoffs.
The Bengals jumped out to a 7-0 lead when Carson Palmer connected with Laveranues Coles on an 11-yard pass in the first quarter, but the Jets scored 21 unanswered points.
Mark Sanchez finished 12-for-15 with 182 yards and a touchdown, which came on a 45-yard connection with tight end Dustin Keller in the second quarter.
Shonn Greene led the Jets with 135 yards and a touchdown.
Fiancee Won't Be Charged In Henry's Death
Police will not file charges against the fianc?e of the late Bengals receiver Chris Henry in connection with his death.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said that there was no evidence Loleini Tonga drove recklessly or with excessive speed when Henry came out of the back of her pickup truck on a curvy, residential road and suffered fatal injuries.
"The speed limit on Oakdale Road is 35 mph and the estimated speed at the time of accident was between 19-23 mph," police said in a statement.
