The New York Giants have agreed to hire Brian Daboll as head coach.

Daboll replaces Joe Judge, who went 10-23 and was fired after two seasons. 

Daboll was one of five finalists for the job along with former Miami Dolphinshead coach Brian Flores, Bills assistant head coach/defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier, Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham. Quinn informed teams on Thursday he would be returning to Dallas.

Daboll is credited with helping the development of Josh Allen into one of the NFL's best quarterbacks.

Inspired by Bills Mafia, Kansas City Chiefs fans have decided to celebrate this past weekend's playoff victory by raising $255,017 for Oishei Children's Hospital in Buffalo.

The total was as of Wednesday evening, per the hospital.

Beginning Tuesday, donations in increments of $13 began being sent to the hospital from Chiefs fans in honor of the 13 seconds it took for the Kansas City offense to drive down the field to tie the divisional-round playoff game at the end of regulation.

The Chiefs went on to win 42-36 on the first drive of overtime.

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane would like to see the NFL revisit their overtime rules in the wake of the team's playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend.

Since the current overtime rules in the playoffs were adopted in 2010, the team that won the coin toss has now scored a touchdown on the opening possession in seven of 11 games.

"At the end of the day, we lost the game the other night. But of course we would've loved to, I think the TV audience would've loved to have seen Josh (Allen) and our offense get it back," Beane said. "I would definitely love to see it brought back to the table.

"I'm not saying I have the exact idea, but I think there's some ways to do it. Without getting into detail, I think there's a way you can do it in the regular season that handles that, but let's do something in the postseason when it's all on the line."

The Buffalo Bills didn't touch the football in Sunday night's overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs after losing the coin toss in their divisional playoff game.

Buffalo lost 42-36 in easily one of the greatest playoff games in NFL history.

Patrick Mahomes connected with Travis Kelce for a touchdown on the first possession of the extra period, ending the game and keeping the Bills from getting a chance to answer.

"The rules are what they are. I can't complain about that because if it was the other way around, we'd be celebrating too," Allen said. "It is what it is at this point. We just didn't make enough plays tonight."

Allen finished 27-for-37 with 329 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. He also carried the ball 11 times for 68 yards. The Bills held a three-point lead with 13 seconds left in regulation.

"It's Pat Mahomes on the other side. They made some good plays there at the end. Unfortunately, the coin toss went the way that it did," Allen said. "I'm super proud of our guys throughout this season and the ups and downs. I know it's disappointing right now, it hurts right now. You can say it's going to be better, we're going to learn from this, it's very cliche and nobody wants to hear it. I truly believe that this unit will learn from this. We've got a great young squad and a lot of guys coming back next year. We've just got to use this as fuel for the fire."
