The Arizona Cardinals have hired Nick Rallis as defensive coordinator.

Rallis is the youngest coordinator in the NFL at the age of 29.

Rallis and Jonathan Gannon coached together for two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rallis is the brother of WWE superstar Riddick Moss, now known as MadCap Moss.

The Arizona Cardinals are set to interview Dave Borgonzi for the defensive coordinator position under new head coach Jonathan Gannon.

Borgonzi is currently the linebackers coach for the Chicago Bears.

Gannon, hired away from the Philadelphia Eagles, hasn't yet decided if he'll call defensive plays for the Cardinals.

Borgonzi and Gannon worked together for three years on the staff of the Indianapolis Colts.

The Arizona Cardinals have hired Jonathan Gannon as their new head coach on a five-year contract.

The other two finalists for the job were Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo and New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.

Gannon had been the Eagles' defensive coordinator for the past two seasons and immediately made an impact. He turned Philadelphia into a top-10 defense in his first year, and this season, the Eagles ranked No. 2 in the league while boasting two Pro Bowlers.

Gannon replaces Kliff Kingsbury, who was fired in January after going 28-37-1 with one playoff appearance in four seasons.

The Arizona Cardinals don't plan to hire a head coach until after Super Bowl LVII, according to a report.

The Cardinals were believed to be down to three candidates -- Brian Flores, Mike Kafka and Lou Anarumo. Flores agreed to become the defensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings earlier this week.

The Indianapolis Colts are also without a head coach.

Waiting until after the Super Bowl could give the Cardinals more access to staff members of the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

A.J. Green has announced his retirement from the NFL.

Green played his first nine seasons for the Bengals and began his career with five consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. Green had only two seasons with over 900 receiving yards after that stretch.

The Arizona Cardinals have zeroed in on three finalists for their head coaching vacancy in Brian Flores, Mike Kafka and Lou Anarumo.

Flores was previously head coach of the Miami Dolphins and spent last season as an assistant with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kafka was offensive coordinator of the New York Giants last season.

Anarumo has been defensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals since 2019.
