The Arizona Cardinals and Adrian Peterson have mutual interest if the Minnesota Vikings choose to move on.
The Cardinals said that Peterson's three years and $45 million remaining is an "absolute non-starter."
Charles Robinson of Yahoo! reports Peterson would be looking for at least $25 million guaranteed on what would essentially be a three-year deal.
Mike Iupati plans to sign with the Arizona Cardinals.
The New York Jets, Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills were also interested in signing Iupati.
Iupati has been one of the NFL's best guards since coming into the NFL out of Idaho in 2010.
Darnell Dockett has agreed to sign with the San Francisco 49ers.
Dockett signed a two-year, $7.5 million contract with the 49ers with $4 million being paid in the first season and $2 million guaranteed.
Dockett missed all of 2014 after tearing his ACL during training camp.
Dockett was released by the Arizona Cardinals to free up $6.8 million in cap space.
Adrian Peterson would consider a restructuring of his contract to help facilitate a trade.
"All the options are open," Nelson Peterson said of those scenarios. "There's no doors closed on anything at this time. … Adrian will come back from this with a vengeance. He plays hard anyway, but he's got an extra chip on his shoulder. He will bounce back from this."
Peterson would prefer a move to the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers or Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings are meeting on Wednesday to discuss next steps.
