Redskins' Taylor Will Miss 10 To 14 Days

Redskins' defensive end Jason Taylor will miss anywhere from ten days to two weeks with a sprained knee, according to The Washington Post. The injury could put Taylor's streak of 130-straight regular season starts in jeopardy. The sprain initially looked serious, but x-rays were negative.

Washington defensive end Jason Taylor left Saturday's preseason loss to Carolina with a sprained knee, according to The Associated Press. An x-ray showed no serious damage, but Taylor will undergo an MRI on Sunday. He was hurt when his leg bent awkwardly after he ended up in the middle of the pile following DeAngelo Williams' 5-yard run midway through the second quarter. "I spoke to him. He's in good spirits," defensive end Andre Carter said. "We'll just have to see."

The Washington Redskins topped the Indianapolis Colts 30-16 in the annual Hall of Fame weekend game on Sunday night, according to The Associated Press. Rookie Colt Brennan threw a pair of touchdown passes in the second half to help Washington overcome a 13-9 halftime deficit. "Taking my first snap, I went to the line, took a deep breath and thought to myself, 'Just have fun out here tonight,' " Brennan said. "And I had a lot of fun." Peyton Manning did not play following minor left knee surgery.
