Once you’ve set everything up, it’s time to place that first bet, risk-free. Looking at the NFL slate for this week, the Washington Football Team and Philadelphia Eagles meet in a game with major playoff implications. Despite a 1-4 home record this season, Philadelphia is a 5.5-point favorite over its divisional foe.

At BetMGM’s current odds, a $100 bet on the Football Team to cover the spread would net $191 in the event of a win. Contrarily, if Washington fails to cover, you’d receive five $20 free bets (i.e., $100 in total) from BetMGM.

BetMGM Promo Code REALGM: Money Monday

Start each week off right with a $10 free bet courtesy of BetMGM. All you have to do is place $50 or more in qualified wagers over the course of a week, and you’ll have your free bet in time for the start of the following week.

It’s called Money Monday, and it’s available for any BetMGM customer from now until the end of the year. Go to BetMGM’s promotions page and opt in for Money Monday, then place $50 of qualifying wagers (-300 odds or longer, using real money) in a given week.

For the purposes of this promotion, the week ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday night. If you’ve hit the wagering requirement, you’ll receive your $10 free bet on the following day. That free bet must be used within seven days of when it’s credited to your account, which means you can spend it just in time to earn another one!

A Shot At $50K With BetMGM Bonus

For a free way to make some NFL picks, consider BetMGM’s “King of the Weekend” contest, which puts up to $50,000 at stake every week.

BetMGM Sportsbook Welcome Offer and Bonus Code

Using a shortlist of NFL games chosen by BetMGM contests try to predict the six highest-scoring teams in order. If you pick the highest-scoring team, you’ll win a $1 free bet. But the more teams you correctly pick, from the top down, the greater your reward becomes.

Selecting the top-two teams results in a $5 free bet. If you pick all six teams correctly in order, you’ll win $50,000 (or a share of that amount if there are multiple winners).

BetMGM awards a weekly prize of $1,000, too, to be split among the top player(s) of the week (even if no one goes 6-for-6 in their predictions).

Roger Goodell Claims Dan Snyder Didn't Hinder WFT Investigation

Dec 16, 2021 2:09 PM

Roger Goodell said Wednesday from the league's owners meetings in Texas that Washington Football Team owner Dan Snyder did not hinder the investigation into his franchise last year.

"We went through a very lengthy period of investigation and discussions," Goodell said. "The one thing I can say with 100% assurance is that it didn't interfere with the work that our investigator did. We were able to access all the people that she wanted to access, have multiple conversations with ... those people. There's always a little bit of a tug and a pull with particularly lawyers and law firms.

"That's something that I think we were able to overcome and make sure we came to the right conclusion."

The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that Snyder tried to prevent attorney Beth Wilkinson from interviewing a woman who had accused the owner of sexual misconduct in 2009. The woman was ultimately paid a $1.6 million settlement.

WFT's COVID List Grows To 18 Players

Dec 16, 2021 8:05 AM

The Washington Football Team added eight players to its reserve/COVID list on Wednesday, bringing their total to 18.

Washington has placed 14 players on the list this week, with four holdovers from last week. They are scheduled to play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Both teams are 6-7 with big-time playoff implications on the line.

Of those 18 players, nine were possible starters Sunday for the Football Team.

"We're in meetings and one of the guys told me someone else had it, it's like, 'Here's another one; there's another one,'" guard Brandon Scherff said. "Like coach Rivera said, 'Next man up.' It's a big opportunity for them to show everyone what they've got."

Report: Dan Snyder Tried To Interfere With WFT Probe

Dec 15, 2021 8:35 AM

Dan Snyder tried to prevent a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct from speaking with D.C. attorney Beth Wilkinson as part of her investigation into the Washington Football Team last year, according to a report.

Wilkinson learned of the 2009 allegation shortly after she began her investigation into the WFT. According to the Washington Post, when Wilkinson tried to interview the former team employee, Snyder's attorneys worked to prevent that from happening.

In its story Tuesday, the Post reported that Snyder's attorneys had offered the woman more money to maintain her silence. The woman's attorney, according to the Post, wrote a letter to Snyder's lawyers that was filed in federal court about the attempt to block Wilkinson from speaking to her.

Further Testing Shows Logan Thomas Has Torn ACL

Dec 14, 2021 7:49 AM

Further testing has revealed that Logan Thomas does have a torn ACL, according to a source. The Washington Football Team's tight end is expected to undergo surgery this week and be ready for the start of the 2022 season.

Washington initially feared that Thomas had torn the ACL and MCL in his left knee. However, more tests the following week revealed knee damage -- but not to his ACL. The organization breathed a collective sigh of relief, knowing his recovery would be a lot easier without a torn ACL.

But even last week, after Thomas was placed on injured reserve, Ron Rivera said doctors were going to "keep an eye on it. They're going to have one more doctor look at it."

Mike McCarthy: Cowboys Are 'Going To Win' Against WFT

Dec 10, 2021 9:09 AM

Mike McCarthy is confident heading into this Sunday's Dallas Cowboys-Washington Football Team game.

"We're going to win this game," McCarthy said. "I'm confident in that."

McCarthy missed the Cowboys' victory over the New Orleans Saints last Thursday due to COVID protocols.

"I mean, what am I supposed to say?" the coach said. "Yeah, I fully expect to win every game I've ever competed in. That's what sports is all about. That's what the NFL [is all about]. Trust me, I understand how hard it is. They're working hard. We're working hard. But, yeah, we're clearly planning on going to Washington and winning the game. There's no doubt about that."

Ryan Fitzpatrick To Have Season-Ending Hip Surgery

Dec 8, 2021 8:42 AM

Ryan Fitzpatrick will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right hip, ending any hope he or the Washington Football Team had for his return this season.

Fitzpatrick's return was considered a long shot before this, but the surgery makes it official.

The 39-year-old, who underwent an MRI in early November, was still dealing with swelling and pain in the hip and groin area in recent weeks, preventing him from rehabbing.

Fitzpatrick suffered a hip subluxation in the second quarter of a season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and was placed on injured reserve.

Washington Fears Logan Thomas Suffered Torn ACL, MCL

Dec 6, 2021 8:40 AM

The Washington Football Team fears that Logan Thomas suffered a torn ACL and MCL late in their 17-15 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, according to a source.

Thomas will undergo more tests Monday.

The Football Team is now 6-6 and two games behind the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East. They currently hold the sixth playoff spot in the NFC with five games remaining.

Thomas was hurt with 10 minutes remaining in the game when he pulled to the left side and was hit low in the left knee by Yannick Ngakoue.
