Steelers Don't Think Ben Roethlisberger Is At End Of Road

Feb 14, 2020 7:46 AM

Ben Roethlisberger played in just two games in 2019, but the Pittsburgh Steelers don't believe the quarterback is at the end of the road.

"We're hopeful he can make a complete recovery (from surgery on his right elbow). So far, he's on course for that," Kevin Colbert said.

The Steelers have insisted they aren't looking for a change at quarterback.

"We don't think Ben is near (where Rivers and Manning are) yet. We don't think he's at the end of the road," Colbert said.

Myles Garrett Again Alleges Mason Rudolph Used Racial Slur

Feb 14, 2020 7:43 AM

Myles Garrett has again alleged that Mason Rudolph used a racial slur toward him just prior to the brawl at the end of November's Cleveland Browns-Pittsburgh Steelers game.

"He called me the N-word," Garrett told Outside The Lines. "He called me a 'stupid N-word.'"

The NFL suspended Garrett indefinitely for ripping Rudolph's helmet off and hitting him in the head with it during the Browns' 21-7 win on Nov. 14. The incident ended up costing him the final six games of the regular season and roughly $1.2 million in pay, plus a fine of $45,623.

Garrett was reinstated by the league Wednesday.

AB: I Didn't Realize 'How Good I Had It' With Ben Roethlisberger

Feb 13, 2020 8:18 AM

Antonio Brown continues to issue apologies to those he's burned over the last year and his subject on Wednesday was former Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Ben Roethlisberger.

Brown posted a photo on Instagram of Roethlisberger smiling and slapping the back of his helmet with a lengthy caption:

"Mostly you a little bit of me !" Brown wrote. "Yee yee !! I never realized how good I had it, got caught up in my emotion with everyone coming after me I really apologize for my actions sincerely man ! It's never been another connection like what we done in the past decade. I appreciate you. Sincerely AB."

The pair's relationship deteriorated throughout Brown's final season with the Steelers in 2018 and he's previously taken a few shots at the quarterback over social media.

Feb 5, 2020 3:08 PM

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed Kevin Colbert to a one-year extension.

Colbert is now under contract through the 2021 NFL Draft.

Colbert is entering his 21st season with the Steelers.

"It's hard to quantify how fortunate I am to have been part of this organization for the last 20 years," said Colbert. "I look forward to the challenge of getting our team back into playoff contention while never losing sight of our ultimate goal – winning a Super Bowl."
