Mike Tomlin To Washington Considered 'Far-Fetched'

Oct 13, 2019 11:57 AM

Mike Tomlin has been linked to the Washington head coaching job despite having two seasons remaining on his contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Washington would have to blow Pittsburgh away with an offer for Tomlin while also giving hi a substantial contract.

"Neither of which is going to happen," one source close to the situation told ESPN.

"I don't see Mike going to Washington," the source continued. "That is so far-fetched. It's so far out there. It would have to be a deal that the league never has seen before and would change the way business is done in football, and I don't see that happening."

Mason Rudolph Putting Emphasis On Getting Ball To JuJu Smith-Schuster

Oct 4, 2019 9:32 AM

Mason Rudolph says it's just a "matter of time" before everything clicks for the Pittsburgh Steelers offensively.

In Week 4, JuJu Smith-Schuster had just three catches for 15 yards.

"Got to get the ball to your best players, and that's something you look forward to every week in the gameplan, so it's just an emphasis on my end," Rudolph said. "JuJu is a team player, and there's going to be games like that where they might take him away or other guys have to step up and make plays and they did that Monday night. That's the type of group we have."
