The Buffalo Bills admitted to the Democrat and Chronicle on Friday afternoon that they have reached a verbal agreement with Giants' linebacker Kawika Mitchell.
He is expected to sign a deal with the Bills by the end of the day.

The Giants and Tom Coughlin have reportedly agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension that will pay him $21 million, according to ESPN.com.

Plaxico May Look For New Deal
Plaxico Burress may be looking for a new deal with the New York Giants, according to the New York Daily News.
Plaxico's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, refused to comment on the rumor on Saturday. Burress has three years and nearly $10.5 million left on his current contract.
"That is going to be between myself and the Giants," agent Drew Rosenhaus told the Daily News. "I can't comment on that publicly."
Reports: Coughlin Extension Expected Soon
The New York Giants are expected to reward head coach Tom Coughlin with a contract extension in the very near future, according to ESPN.com.
Negotiations are expected to be completed by the end of the week between the two parties, with the rumored deal to be worth about $20 million over the next four years.

Tom Coughlin apparently will be generously rewarded for guiding the Giants to their first championship in 17 years.
Coughlin is close to receiving a long-term contract extension from the Giants, according to a report published Tuesday by Newsday.

Jeff Feagles signed a two-year deal with the New York Giants to remain their punter past this season, according to Associated Press.

Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, who interviewed for the Redskins' head coaching job the past three days, has decided to stay in New York, according to an ESPN.com report.
Spagnuolo was not offered the Redskins job but his agent Bob Lamont said "it didn't matter because his heart is in New York City."
"The Redskins were great ... it was a great interview," Lamont said.
The Giants are also giving Spagnuolo a new three-year contract in excess of $2M per year, which would make him the NFL's highest-paid defensive coordinator.
