Daniel, who played at Missouri and has backed up Drew Brees with the Saints, will be the Chiefs' No. 2 quarterback behind Alex Smith.

The New Orleans Saints have tendered Chris Ivory at the second-round level.
Ivory is part of the Saints' deep backfield.
The Saints had to give Ivory one of the higher RFA tenders to get any draft-pick compensation.
