A spokesman for the Saints said Tuesday that the team will not match the Eagles' offer to restricted free-agent running back Mike Bell.
New Orleans had until midnight Tuesday to match Philadelphia's one-year offer.
The Eagles will not owe any compensation for Bell.

Eagles Include No-Trade Clause In Bell Offer
The Eagles placed a no-trade clause in the contract offer they extended to free-agent running back Mike Bell last week.
According to the National Football Post, the no-trade clause isn't the main reason that the Saints are unlikely to match the offer sheet.
The Saints have placed more importance on re-signing Pierre Thomas than keeping Bell and the Eagles are expected to land him.
Report: "Pacman" Jones Pursued By 49ers, Lions
Leading up to the pro-day style workout Adam "Pacman" Jones is reported to be holding on Friday for NFL scouts, the cornerback privately met with the 49ers last week, according to NFL.com.
Jones is also scheduled to meet with the Lions on Friday morning, according to the report.
The workout will reportedly be held in New Orleans following Tulane's pro day. According to NFL.com, the 49ers, Lions, Jaguars and Saints will be at the workout.
Saints Have Love, But May Not Have Money For Sharper
Saints general manager Mickey Loomis would love to re-sign safety Darren Sharper, but isn't sure if the team has enough money to do so.
"Listen, I got all the love in the world for Darren Sharper, I just don't have all the money in the world for Darren Sharper," Loomis said in response to comments made by Sharper that the Saints weren't showing him any love.
"If it fits under our salary structure and the resources that we have, then we'll definitely want to have him back. If it doesn't, and he has an opportunity someplace else, then we understand that."
Tomlinson May Visit Eagles, Saints
LaDainian Tomlinson is believed to have visits with the Eagles and Saints set up for sometime next week.
The free-agent running back met with the Vikings on Thursday and is scheduled to visit the Jets as well.
Sharper Had Arthroscopic Knee Surgery
Free-agent safety Darren Sharper had minor arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, but plans to play in 2010.
He arrived at Monday's premiere of an NFL Films championship video using crutches, but described the procedure as a minor cleanup and assured that he's feeling "real good."
Saints To Release Charles Grant
The Saints plan to release former starting defensive end Charles Grant.
New Orleans general manager Mickey Loomis announced on Thursday that Grant would be released when free agency begins on Friday.
He started all 16 regular season games in 2009 and was credited with 53 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks. However, he tore his triceps in the last game of the regular season.
