Justin Jefferson has high expectations for this season, hoping to become the first player ever to record 2,000 receiving yards.

"I think I can," Jefferson said. "Hopefully, everything goes right and I can get that 2,000. That's my goal."

Jefferson had 1,616 yards last season and the Minnesota Vikings are now coached by Kevin O'Connell, who helped Cooper Kupp notch 1,947 yards with the Los Angeles Rams last year.

Already one of the NFL's top receivers after two seasons, Justin Jefferson says he'll be the league's best before long.

Jefferson praised Davante Adams as the NFL's best receiver during a recent interview with Complex but added that he's "pretty sure after this year, it's going to be me."

"I'll say after this year I'll be the best receiver in the NFL," Jefferson told Complex. "I definitely have to give it to Davante Adams as of now, him being so crazy and dynamic on the field. His route running is crazy, so I definitely have to give it to him right now, but I'm pretty sure after this year, it's going to be me."
