The Minnesota Vikings have placed Dalvin Cook on the reserve/COVID-19 list, which means he will likely miss Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Named to his third straight Pro Bowl this week, Cook leads the NFC in rushing with 1,067 yards.

Bears' Robert Quinn: Refs 'Controlling The Game A Little Too Much'

Dec 21, 2021 8:55 AM

The Chicago Bears were not happy with the officiating after Monday night's 17-9 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

The Bears were called for five personal fouls out of nine total penalties, including a rare flag against Matt Nagy for arguing a call at Soldier Field.

"Some of these calls are starting to get a little crazy," Robert Quinn said. "These refs seem like they're controlling the game a little too much. So, when a play is clean and they're throwing a flag for something that they thought they could change a game [with] just by one flag ... let guys play ball. If this was a couple years ago, half of this stuff wouldn't even be called. But now, they got so many of these stupid rules, they dang near in a ref's hands [and] could change the game in any given moment.

"I think they need to go check the refs they hire and not our coach."

DraftKings Sportsbook Offer NFL Week 15: Deposit Bonus Up to $1,000!

Apr 1, 2022 6:54 AM

Pretty much every sportsbook has its own version of a welcome deal for new users, but how many of them require just a $1 investment to win big? There’s only one that we know of, and it’s DraftKings Sportsbook.

DraftKings New York Welcome Offer and Promo Code

From now until midnight, new users at DraftKings Sportsbook will win $100 in free bets by placing a $1 moneyline wager on any NFL game before it begins. This “Bet $1, Win $100” offer is applicable for moneyline bets in the NBA, college basketball, college football or boxing.

We say you “will” win, and not just that you “could” win, because the $100 free bet bonus is granted as long as a team scores a point (or a fighter lands a punch) in your moneyline bet. So, yeah, you can bank on this one.

To qualify, you must be a new user signing up for a DraftKings Sportsbook account for the very first time. Additionally, you need to 21 or older and located in either Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Wyoming or West Virginia.

To score $100 in free bets from a $1 wager, make sure you’ve registered for your new DraftKings Sportsbook account first. On DraftKings Sportsbook’s website, you should see the “Bet $1, Win $100” at the top of your screen. You can click the “Sign Up” panel from there to register for an account.

Deposit at least $5 into your account when you’re signing up because it’s a requirement for the promotion (we’ll explain later why you might want to deposit more).

All that remains is placing your moneyline bet. Again, whether you opt for something in the NFL betting market, an NBA game or something else, it’s going to lead to $100 in free bets. Then again, you’ll want to win your money back (and then some), too, so choose wisely. You only have to bet $1 for this offer, but you can certainly bet more if you like a particular matchup.

DraftKings Welcome Offer and Promo Code

This Sunday’s Cardinals/Lions matchup in the NFL is a perfect example of how you might take advantage of this promotion. The Cardinals are -800 moneyline chalk according to DraftKings’ NFL odds, which means a $1 bet on Arizona would only net 12 cents in potential profits. Of course, with DraftKings, you can tack on $100 in free bets to your winnings and it’ll start to look a lot better.

Shortly after the game you’ve bet on is complete, you’ll receive the $100 free bet bonus as four $25 free bets. Each of those free bets must be used within seven days of when they’re received.

What Is A Free Bet?

A free bet is a form of site credit that doesn’t hold any real cash value. You use free bets the same way you use real-money wager: to place bets, and make money. The only difference is that free bets themselves cannot be cashed out at any time, and they typically have an expiration date.

Taking one of the $25 free bets from the promotion described above, you could pick the favored Vikings to cover a 3.5-point spread against the Bears on Monday night. At -110 odds, that free bet would earn $22.72 in the event of a win.

DraftKings Sportsbook Promo Code Delivers Deposit Bonus

When you make your initial deposit during the “Bet $1, Win $100” promotion, you’ll also receive a 20% deposit bonus with DraftKings Sportsbook.

DraftKings Welcome Offer and Promo Code

Remember, the minimum required deposit is $5. That’s fine, but it only yields a bonus of $1. If you deposit, say, $100, at least you’re getting $20 of bonus funds in return.

Those bonus funds are paid out as cash, but they aren’t paid out all at once. DraftKings deploys a 25X play-through requirement, which means bettors must wager $25 in real money to receive $1 of bonus funds in return. You’ll have 90 days to achieve your full bonus from the day the first deposit is made.
