Jerry Jones' Sights Back On Super Bowl After Win

Nov 21, 2022 1:11 AM

Last week, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones used the word "frustrated" over and over again after an overtime loss at the Green Bay Packers. On Sunday, following a 40-3 win against the Minnesota Vikings, Jones said he believes the Cowboys are Super Bowl contenders.

"A resounding yes. Yes. Unequivocally," Jones said. "I think we've had adversity. We very easily could have more adversity ... Yes, I think if we use the experience of what we're having in the season, then we're going to be playoff ready. But I sure do think that what I see out here right now is the team like that you could go get a Super Bowl with."

Josh Allen In Line To Be Active And Potentially Starting

Nov 13, 2022 1:12 AM

The Buffalo Bills did not elevate practice squad quarterback Matt Barkley to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, meaning Josh Allen is in line to be active for the game and potentially starting.

Allen, who is dealing with a right elbow injury, and backup Case Keenum are the only quarterbacks on the 53-man roster, which means the team felt a certain level of comfort with Allen's ability to play. He remains officially questionable.

Bills Not Rushing Decision On Playing Josh Allen

Nov 12, 2022 2:01 AM

Josh Allen's status continues to be up in the air, with the Buffalo Bills quarterback listed as questionable for the game Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

Allen was a limited participant in practice Friday, his first participation this week after suffering a right elbow injury Sunday against the New York Jets. He was seen at the end of the session wearing a practice jersey for the first time this week. Allen did not have on the sleeve he had been wearing on his right arm.

Kirk Cousins: Stefon Diggs Trade Has Worked Out Well

Nov 10, 2022 8:33 AM

Kirk Cousins says the trade that sent Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills has worked out well for the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings acquired the Bills' 2020 first-round pick in the deal, which they used to select Justin Jefferson. He immediately filled the void left behind by Diggs.

"I think it's one that's worked out for everybody involved," Cousins said. “Stefon was looking for a different opportunity, and his production in Buffalo would suggest that's worked out very well for him. ... Being able to get Justin made it sting a little less, with the way Justin's played. But make no mistake about it, Stefon is an elite receiver, he's shown that here, he's shown that there, and he's doing it again this year, and it doesn't surprise me in the least, having played with him."
