Adrian Peterson has returned to Minnesota's training camp after an allergic reaction at lunch sent him to a local hospital.
Peterson ate seafood on Monday that caused his face to swell and shortness of breath.
Vikings coach Leslie Frazier says the situation was a "little bit of a scare" but that Peterson is "fine now."

Carlson: No Comparison To Gronkowski, Hernandez
The Vikings signed John Carlson this offseason to pair with second-year tight end Kyle Rudolph, drawing comparisons to New England's excellent combination of Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.
In 62 NFL games, the Minnesota tight end tandem has 163 receptions, 1,768 yards and 16 touchdowns.
"To compare us to those two tight ends is not something I'm going to do right now," Carlson said.
"We've got a lot of work to do; we have a long ways to go. It's been done. It's being done out there. We have to work to improve to get toward that point."
Leber: Favre Wasn't Committed To Vikings
Former Vikings linebacker Ben Leber ripped into Brett Favre on Minnesota's KFAN-FM on Thursday.
Leber fired back at Favre in the wake of a recent statement on NFL Network that the biggest reason the quarterback returned for his final season in 2010 was money.
"He clearly wasn't mentally and emotionally into it, and that's the thing that kind of bugged me," Leber said. "I get it, you've got to make the money when you can make it, even though he has made hundreds of millions of dollars. When he says it's about the money, it just means that he wasn't committed to us. So that irritated me a little bit, not for him taking the money, but for what it really meant."
Leber, who retired in June after 10 seasons, pegged Favre's attitude as such: "You know, I'll kind of stagger back in here, and I'll give you guys what I've got, but I just know wholeheartedly I don't have it in me, and the money's too good to pass up."
Vikings Sign Top Pick Matt Kalil
The Vikings have signed tackle Matt Kalil, their top draft pick and the last player from their 2012 draft class to reach a contract, according to an ESPN.com report.
Terms weren't disclosed Thursday, one day before the team opens training camp.
Gerhart: Peterson Will Be Ready For Season
Adrian Peterson aims to be ready for the start of the 2012 regular season.
His top backup, Toby Gerhart, has no reason to doubt that will be the case.
"I think he will be," Gerhart said. "You can never be surprised with Adrian. The way he comes to work every day, the way he pushes himself. I mean, he was flying around, straight-line speed, moving out there. Racing Percy (Harvin) up the hill, doing conditioning stuff. I haven't seen him in a couple of weeks now, but I'm sure he's continued to make leaps and bounds in progress.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he's ready. You can never count Adrian out."
Peterson will be nine months out from major knee surgery at the start of the season and likely will be limited.
Favre Admits Return To Vikings In 2010 Was About Money
Brett Favre has admitted that his decision to return to the Vikings for the 2010 season was largely motivated by money.
Minnesota went 6-10 and Favre threw 19 interceptions that season.
"First of all," Favre said of why he returned, "the money was too good. The money was too good. And I hate to say it's about money. I felt the money was a lot. But the guys, I kind of felt like even though I knew it was going to be next to impossible [to duplicate the 2009 success] -- I wouldn't tell them [that]. Sidney [Rice], Jared [Allen], [Steve] Hutchinson and Adrian [Peterson], they were like, 'Unfinished business.' I just knew that it probably was finished."
Adrian Peterson's Court Date Reset
Prosecutors have agreed to reset Adrian Peterson's court date to Aug. 6 on a misdemeanor charge stemming from an incident at a Houston nightclub.

Lawyer: Peterson Was A Victim During Arrest
Adrian Peterson's attorney says the Vikings running back did not resist arrest over the weekend.
Attorney Rusty Hardin released a statement on Monday.
"Adrian Peterson did not resist arrest this past Saturday morning and any suggestion that he pushed, struck or shoved a Houston police officer is a total fabrication," the statement reads. "He, in fact, was struck at least twice in the face for absolutely no legitimate reason, and when all the evidence is impartially reviewed, it will clearly show Adrian was the victim, not the aggressor.
"We have been investigating what happened since Saturday afternoon, and it is absolutely clear to me that the charges should not have been filed, and the Bayou Club owes Adrian an apology for having put out a totally false version of what happened. Adrian Peterson does not act the way he has been described in the initial reports and he did not act that way Saturday morning.
"He was only in that club for 30 to 40 minutes, was never objectionable to other patrons and never physically resisted any police officer. Adrian is extremely upset about these false allegations. These charges are totally at odds with the way he has conducted himself throughout his career, and he asks that his fans and the public at large reserve judgment until they hear all the facts. Adrian looks forward to his day in court."
Peterson Hires Rusty Hardin As Attorney
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has hired high-profile attorney Rusty Hardin to represent him after being charged with resisting arrest Saturday in Houston.
ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter confirmed Peterson's hiring of Hardin.

Peterson Says 'Truth Will Surface' After Arrest
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson says the truth will come out following his recent arrest in Texas.
"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on," Peterson tweeted, quoting Winston Churchill.
"Thank you for waiting for the facts. Truth will surface," he continued.
Peterson was arrested early Saturday at a Houston nightclub on a charge of resisting arrest. He spent the rest of the night in jail and was released on a $1,000 bond.
