Ponder and Steele have only been dating approximately one month.

“The answer is yes,” Ponder said after the Vikings practice.

“We’ve kind of been intentionally trying to keep it private. People are going to figure it out at some point. It’s not really that big of a deal."

Vikings Praise Open Communication Of DC Alan Williams

Oct 31, 2014 10:46 AM

Minnesota Vikings' defensive coordinator Alan Williams has been praised for his open communication with his players.

"When you have that kind of confidence in a coach, knowing that he has that type of confidence in his players, it really makes you want to play better for him," defensive end Brian Robison said.

The Vikings single loss came against the Colts due to a number of critical breakdowns.

"Ultimately what we have to do is what's best for the team overall," defensive tackle Kevin Williams said. "We don't want to put square pegs in round holes, but when it's all said it done it's what's going to be best for the defense and what's best for the Minnesota Vikings football team and not necessarily the individual."
