NFL Suspends Cameraman Over Tyreek Hill Stunt

Nov 30, 2023 8:18 AM

The NFL has suspended cameraman Kevin Fitzgibbons for the remainder of the 2023 season and "possibly for good" for allowing Tyreek Hill to use his camera as a prop during a Week 6 game between the Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers.

Hill's celebration went viral as a result of him using the phone as a prop.

"The NFL then let me know that I was suspended for the remainder of the season and possibly for good," Fitzgibbons said in a video posted on social media.

"They said regardless if I knew the celebration was coming or not, I still had to be disciplined and that I shouldn't have jumped on the sidelines after the play. One of the best moments of my life turned upside down in a matter of seconds. I get why the NFL had to make this decision and wish I could've done something to prevent it, but I'm thankful for the memory Tyreek gave me," he said. "This was the greatest job in the world and I never took a day for granted. I can't thank the NFL enough for the opportunity. Whether it's back with the NFL or starting a new sport, I just hope to get another chance at doing what I love."

Fitzgibbons, 20, also revealed that he actually met Hill previously, and the two were close following the star wideout's trade to the Dolphins in 2022.

Tyreek Hill Says Dolphins Are Better Than His Super Bowl Chiefs Team

Nov 29, 2023 8:54 AM

Tyreek Hill says his current Miami Dolphins team is the best team he's played for, despite winning Super Bowl LIV with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Hill credited Mike McDaniel for the way he handles the team.

"The way our head coach prepares us each and every week man, it's next level. And he keeps each and every one of his guys in tune with the game plan and how we keep attention to detail each and every week," Hill said.

"So it's a beautiful thing to see the way we practice, the way we play for one another is something that I've never seen before in a team. I won a Super Bowl and I feel like this is probably the better team than when we won a Super Bowl back when I was on K.C."

The Dolphins are 8-3 and in first place in the AFC East. If the playoffs began today, Miami would be the No. 4 seed in the conference.

Dolphins' Jaelan Phillips Suffers Achilles Injury

Nov 24, 2023 10:45 PM

Miami Dolphins linebacker Jaelan Phillips left Friday's 34-13 win over the New York Jets with an Achilles injury and did not return, casting a dark cloud over an otherwise dominant performance from the Dolphins' defense.

Phillips went down with a non-contact lower leg injury late in the fourth quarter; the television replay showed what appeared to be his calf firing - a telling sign of a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Tyreek Hill: Chiefs 'Going To Get This Work'

Nov 3, 2023 8:59 AM

Tyreek Hill is appreciative of his time with the Kansas City Chiefs, but even though he looks forward to seeing some of his former teammates this weekend, he doesn't feel any additional emotion.

Hill spent the first six years of his career with the Chiefs before he was traded to the Miami Dolphins last offseason and faces his former team for the first time Sunday.

The game will be played in Frankfurt, Germany, instead of the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium.

"It doesn't really matter where we play at," he smiled. "I mean, obviously it would've been great to play in K.C., but it really doesn't matter where we play at, you feel me? They going to get this work wherever though."

Hill's reunion comes days after he was named the AFC's Offensive Player of the Month for October. He currently leads the league in receiving yards with 1,014 and is on pace to become the first receiver in NFL history to surpass 2,000 receiving yards in a season.
