Caleb Williams Most Interested In Playing For Dolphins

Feb 23, 2023 11:08 AM

Caleb Williams is widely expected to be the top quarterback selected in the 2024 NFL Draft and was recently asked which team he'd most like to play for.

"I'd probably go to the Dolphins," Williams said when asked which team he'd most like to play for in an interview with People Magazine's Lanae Brody. "I also would be able to play with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Mike Gesicki. The defense isn't bad. That's probably my No. 1 spot."

"I also like the colors," he said. "The colors are pretty cool, and the weather's good."

Williams also mentioned the San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders and Atlanta Falcons as teams he'd most like to join in the NFL.

The Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans are widely expected to be amongst the contenders for the worst record in 2023.

Tua Tagovailoa Practicing Judo To Avoid Head Injuries When Falling

Feb 22, 2023 9:50 AM

Tua Tagovailoa is devoting one day per week to Judo training during the offseason.

The Miami Dolphins quarterback suffered a series of concussions during the 2022 season and Judo may help him learn how to fall in a way that doesn't result in his head striking the turf.

"We've got a plan set up," he told Kay Adams. "I'll be doing Judo on Fridays just so that I can kind of figure out understanding my body and how to fall. ... Just trying to help myself."

Tua Tagovailoa Clears Concussion Protocol

Feb 2, 2023 10:09 AM

More than a month after entering it, Tua Tagovailoa has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, according to a source.

Tagovailoa was diagnosed with his second concussion of the season after hitting his head during the Miami Dolphins' loss to the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day.

He was placed into the protocol the next day and missed the team's final three games of the season.

He missed the better part of six games after sustaining concussions in Week 4 and Week 16. The NFL and NFLPA launched two joint reviews into how his head injuries were handled this season, the first of which resulted in the termination of an unaffiliated neurological consultant who had cleared him to play after he hit his head in Week 3 and stumbled shortly after.

The league altered its concussion protocol as a result of that same joint review.
