Tua Tagovailoa 'Ready To Go' As Camp Nears

Jul 24, 2020 9:47 AM

Tua Tagovailoa says he's ready to go as the Miami Dolphins get closer to opening camp.

"I'd say I'm ready to go," the rookie quarterback said. "It's kind of those things where you start getting the itch to get back out on the field, to be able to compete. It's going to be a new setting, so that's what's even more exciting."

Because he's rehabbing a hip injury, Tagovailoa received early access to the Dolphins' facility amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Dolphins Still Optimistic About Having 'Some' Fans In Stands

Jul 2, 2020 8:59 AM

The NFL is still planning to open the season on time despite the rising rate of COVID-19 cases in some parts of the United States.

In addition, the Miami Dolphins are still optimistic they'll have at least some fans at games this fall.

"We will be going to our fans saying if you are in any way at risk we don't think you should come, assuming we are going to be playing with some level of fans — which at this point may or may not happen," he said. "It's very uncertain. I am optimistic we will play with some fans and am hopeful about that. Assuming that's the case, we will recommend to fans who are any way at risk not to come. Our season-ticket holders can roll over money into next year. They will be able to roll over and keep their tenure."
