The defensive tackle can earn up to $7 million on the deal.
Reed has 19 sacks over the past three seasons.

Robinson was third on the Chiefs in catches with 45 and fourth in yards with 466 last year.
Kansas City drafted Robinson as a fourth-round pick in 2016.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and JuJu Smith-Schuster have agreed to a one-year, $8 million.
Smith-Shuster had better offers from the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal with Kyle Long as they continue to remake their offensive line.
Long came out of retirement this offseason.
Long also considered the Las Vegas Raiders.

Kansas City will convert the $21.7 million roster bonus for Mahomes to a signing bonus, which will save approximately $17 million against the cap.

The Kansas City Chiefs have released starting offensive tackles Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz.
The moves save them more than $18 million against the salary cap, but will force them to rebuild the offensive line.
Kansas City needed to clear about $20 million in space before cutting Fisher and Schwartz.
Chiefs Hope Patrick Mahomes Will Be Ready For June Minicamp
The Kansas City Chiefs are hopeful Patrick Mahomes will have recovered from recent toe surgery to participate in the team's June minicamp.
Mahomes had surgery for turf toe on Feb. 10. The expectation is that he will be ready to go by the start of training camp later in the summer.
"It's a three-month recovery, so we're hopeful [Mahomes returns] somewhere around that mandatory minicamp, if we have it," Brett Veach said. "We certainly think by training camp he'll be ready to go and we'll be smart with him."
