The Colts reached an agreement Saturday with first-round pick Joseph Addai, a running back who they hope will fill the shoes of departed starter Edgerrin James.
The five-year contract includes $4.7 million in guarantees and a maximum value of $11.165 million.
Agent Ian Greengross confirmed the deal, which Addai is expected to sign Sunday. The Colts are scheduled to report for training camp Sunday and begin practice Monday.

Agent Ian Greengross said Friday that negotiations with the Colts have progressed to where the two sides have agreed on a five-year term for a deal, while other details, including money, remain unsettled as Sunday's start of training camp nears.
