Cleveland receiver Joe Jurevicius had a staph infection following offseason surgery but appears to be okay now, according to a report in the Chronicle-Telegram.
The original report, on Cleveland.com, stated that Jurevicius suffered from a staph infection roughly two weeks after having arthroscopic knee surgery in January.
He is expected to be ready for the team's minicamp in June.

Browns GM Savage Expects Extension By Draft
Browns' GM Phil Savage won?t have many picks on draft day. He will have a contract extension, though, according to an Associated Press report.
Savage and Cleveland owner Randy Lerner recently met and made progress toward an extension, which is expected to be completed before the April 26-27 NFL draft. The two men had informal, preliminary talks following Cleveland?s season?a surprising 10-6 breakout by the Browns.
With Savage focused on the draft, and Lerner?s travel schedule, they haven?t been able to meet and finalize the multiyear package for the 43-year-old GM, who in three-plus years has completely dismantled and rebuilt the Browns.
Former Browns' Radio Announcer Gib Shanley Dies
Gib Shanley, the radio voice of the Cleveland Browns from 1961 to 1984, died Sunday. He was 76.
Shanley died at a Cleveland hospital, said Steve Ripepi, president of A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Homes, which is handling funeral arrangements. A cause of death wasn?t immediately released, according to an Associated Press report.
Browns DB Wright Faces Charges
Cleveland defensive back Kenny Wright faces charges after a disturbance outside a police station, according to the Associated Press.
He was released from jail after being arrested for a disturbance outside a police station.
Wright was charged with unlawful restraint, evading arrest, and possessing marijuana.
