The Cincinnati Bengals are winless through two games and Joe Mixon is taking the blame.

Mixon has rushed for just 27 yards this season, averaging 1.6 yards per carry.

"I take it personally on me," Mixon said. "These two performances I've been displaying have been terrible. You call me the peon right now. I've got to go home and do some re-evaluating, some looking at the man in the mirror, which is me, and got to step up, making something happen."

Just last year, Mixon finished fourth in the NFL in rushing (1,168 yards) in just 14 games and scored nine touchdowns while averaging more than 100 yards from scrimmage.

The Buffalo Bills have the first draft picks they selected still on their roster with 18, followed by the New York Jets with 19. The Cleveland Browns and Kansas Chiefs are tied for third with 21 apiece. 

The Cincinnati Bengals have the most draft picks they selected on their roster with 37, followed by the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks with 36.

Giovani Bernard and the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a two-year contract extension.

The running back is now under contract through the 2021 season.

The deal is worth $10.3 million and includes $600,000 guaranteed, to be paid in March 2020.
