Jauron: Edwards Will Be 'Really Good'

Jun 9, 2014 5:24 PM

Bills' coach Dick Jauron believes that young quarterback Trent Edwards is going to be a very good NFL player despite his recent struggles. "We have to live through some of these issues when you're playing a young quarterback. I just think he's going to be a really good player," Jauron said, referring to the team's loss to Cleveland on Monday night. "You saw him at the end, once again, he took us right back to where we needed to be to have a chance to win it." Buffalo is 5-5, and last in the AFC East after starting the season 4-0.

Jauron: Edwards Will Be Fine Despite Slump

May 21, 2014 7:02 PM

Trent Edwards has been suffering through a recent slump, but Bills' coach Dick Jauron isn't at all worried about him bursting out of it. "It's not going to go in a straight line up; it just doesn't work that way," said Jauron. "Nothing does in life and certainly nothing does in football. It's going to be up and down, you're going to have highs and lows, you're going to suffer a lot and get defeated a lot and the bottom line is how you come back. I don't have any doubts about Trent Edwards. He's going to be fine."
