Jets Steal Dyson Away From Seattle

Oct 5, 2014 3:01 AM

The Jets on Thursday signed cornerback Andre Dyson, who had been with the Seattle Seahawks. Terms were not disclosed. The 26-year-old Dyson likely will fill the vacated starting spot left by Law, who had 62 tackles and a career-high 10 interceptions in his first and only season in New York. The brother of Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Kevin Dyson, Andre Dyson missed six games for the Seahawks last season but was in the starting lineup for all three of the NFC champion's playoff contests. "Andre is a good, young player who has extensive playing experience at the highest levels in the NFL," Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said. "One of our priorities heading into the offseason was to acquire a cornerback that had valuable playing experience. In addition, he has played in two championship games and a Super Bowl, and that experience will be an asset to the Jets."

Moulds Seeking A Trade Out Of Buffalo

Aug 23, 2014 7:15 PM

Eric Moulds has the Buffalo Bills' permission to seek a trade, the latest step for the veteran receiver who asked for his release after repeatedly rejecting the team's demands to take a pay cut. "We are shopping Eric," Moulds' personal adviser, Greg Johnson, told The Associated Press on Tuesday. "Obviously, we would much rather have Eric released. But if we can work out a trade, we will. But if not, we're back to Square 1 and Eric won't play for the Bills."

The Buffalo Bills have released defensive tackle Sam Adams, saving the club $3.5 million against the cap for the 2006 season. Adams spoke to WGR's Jeff Morrison, confirming the situation. Adams was in his last season with the team and was scheduled to make $3.5 million. ESPN's John Clayton also spoke to WGR and said that negotiations had been on going for several weeks to reduce Adams' salary, though the 12-year veteran would have none of it.
