The Jets on Thursday signed cornerback Andre Dyson, who had been with the Seattle Seahawks. Terms were not disclosed. The 26-year-old Dyson likely will fill the vacated starting spot left by Law, who had 62 tackles and a career-high 10 interceptions in his first and only season in New York. The brother of Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Kevin Dyson, Andre Dyson missed six games for the Seahawks last season but was in the starting lineup for all three of the NFC champion's playoff contests. "Andre is a good, young player who has extensive playing experience at the highest levels in the NFL," Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said. "One of our priorities heading into the offseason was to acquire a cornerback that had valuable playing experience. In addition, he has played in two championship games and a Super Bowl, and that experience will be an asset to the Jets."
