McGahee: "I've Got To Step My Game Up"
Often criticized for missing voluntary workouts with the Buffalo Bills, Willis McGahee lived up to his promise that he would attend the Ravens' minicamps and expects it to pay dividends.
"I'm motivated, I've got to step my game up," said McGahee, who will rejoin his teammates for the second Ravens minicamp today. "My teammates are expecting a lot of me. I'm going to go out there and dish it out. Hopefully, we can all work together and make that run we want."
Ravens' Sams Acquitted Of DUI
Ravens return specialist B.J. Sams was acquitted of driving under the influence and negligent driving charges in district court Tuesday.
Sams, who was arrested Oct. 3, was found guilty of a lane violation, which carries a $90 fine and one point on his driving record.
He had probation before judgment on his record for a prior DUI charge.
McNair Arrested Early Thursday Morning
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Steve McNair was arrested early Thursday and charged with being the owner of a vehicle operated by a drunken driver.
The former Tennessee Titans player was a passenger in his silver pickup truck, police said.
Police said a copy of the arrest report wouldn't be available until later in the day but confirmed McNair was arrested and booked into jail about 3 a.m.
